This Scholarship is available for all subject areas. The aim of this Scholarship is to provide support for Pacific students to achieve academically at the University of Waikato.

Donor

Donor(s): Edna Money was a Morrinsville farmer and accountant who bequeathed the sum of $1 million to the University of Waikato to benefit Pacific students.

Eligibility

For domestic school leavers who are intending to enrol full-time (120 points) in an undergraduate degree in. Applicants must have achieved NCEA Level 2 with Merit (or equivalent), and be of Pacific Island descent. Applicants may be taking a gap year in the previous year, but must have achieved Merit (or equivalent) at both NCEA Level 2 and NCEA Level 3.

Before applying

To apply for the Edna Money Future Pacific Leaders' Scholarship click on Apply now below where you will be taken to your MyWaikato portal. You will then need to select the Pacific Excellence/Edna Money School Leaver Scholarships to submit an application. In completing this online application you will also be considered for the Pacific Excellence Scholarship. 2. If you are new, complete an application to enrol

   You will need to do this BEFORE you can have access to apply for Scholarships and Awards. Application to enrol

3. Apply using MyWaikato

   Once you have an account, log into MyWaikato and click on the ‘Scholarships’ tab to see the list of available scholarships Apply now Note: If you are a current student or already have a University of Waikato account you will be redirected to the MyWaikato screen. Log in to MyWaikato, select the ‘Scholarships’ tab and choose the scholarship you wish to apply for from the list at the bottom of the page.
