Overview

The Landscape Architecture MA is a fully accredited course for graduates of Landscape Architecture and closely related disciplines. This one-year program prepares students with the skills needed for their future as landscape architects, covering topics such as multispecies design and interagency.

Tuition fees for 2026 entry (per year)

• Home students: £11,400
• International students: £26,500 The university offers a range of scholarships, including a 25% discount for EU students without settled or pre-settled status.

Entry Requirements

Academic entry requirements

A 2:1 honours degree in Landscape Architecture (accredited by the Landscape Institute, UK), or international equivalent. Cognate Graduates (from non-LI accredited undergraduate programmes) will also be considered if able to demonstrate comparable skills and knowledge gained through previous study and/or professional experience.

English Language requirements

IELTS, Pearson, Duolingo English Test, or TOEFL, with specific requirements depending on the qualification.

How to Apply

The course starts in September, and there is no application closing date. International students are advised to apply at least two months before the course starts. A portfolio demonstrating aptitude for landscape architecture is required as part of the application. The portfolio should consist of the applicant's own best work in art or design. If an international student or a student from the EU, EEA, or Switzerland needs a visa to study in the UK, they must pay a deposit of £1,500 or submit an official letter of sponsorship.
