Indigenous Wellness and Addictions Prevention

Overview

The Indigenous Wellness and Addictions Prevention program is a 2-year Ontario College Diploma that provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary for employment in various addiction settings. The curriculum is based on the holistic teachings of the Medicine Wheel, focusing on the root causes of addiction within Indigenous communities. Students will learn both cultural and mainstream approaches to addictions counselling.
