Overview

Develop the knowledge, skills, and judgment required to become a self-regulated health professional. A large part of your training will involve hands-on clinical practice. You'll have the opportunity to apply your clinical theory by working with real clients at Canadore’s Dental Hygiene Clinic, which offers free dental hygiene services to the community. Graduates are in high demand, finding employment in dental offices, hospitals, and research institutes. This program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada and prepares you for practice in Ontario.

Admissions Requirements

• OSSD or equivalent, ENG4C or ENG4U.
• Gr 11 or 12 Math (M) (C) or (U), Gr 11 or 12 Biology (C) or (U), and one of the following two (2) sciences: Chemistry: Gr 11 or 12 (C) or (U); Physics: Gr 11 or 12 (C) or (U)
• If English is not your first language, you must provide proof of English competency.
