The Certificate of Credit in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) 1 Year is a one-year, full-time program designed to improve English language and academic study skills. The program is available as an 8-month program and includes visits to tourist attractions and historic sites to immerse students in Edinburgh and Scotland's culture.

Course Details
One-year Pre-sessional Course September - August
- Offer for a degree course at + IELTS 4.0 with no skill below 4.0
- Students on the year-long English language program will receive two Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) letters – one for the English language course and one for their degree program (on the assumption of passing the Edinburgh Napier University language exam)
- You will be expected to hold the academic entry requirements for your degree program at the start of the year-long English language program

- Our entry requirements indicate the minimum qualifications with which we normally accept students
