Library Freedom Institute

The Library Freedom Institute is a professional development program that covers a wide range of subjects in the privacy, intellectual freedom, and critical technology realm.

Program Details

• The 2026 Institute will take place over 15 weeks, starting in late January.
• The program consists of a two-hour virtual meeting every week, as well as an in-person weekend component.
• Participants will also spend time each week working on readings and group discussion.
• After completing the Library Freedom Institute, participants are invited to join the Library Freedom Project community of practice, a supportive environment for library workers to continue collaborating.
