University Diploma Programme in Church Music

The Cantor Programme is a two-year university-level education leading to a Higher Education Diploma in Church Music, amounting to 120 ECTS credits.

Programme Overview

The programme includes:

• Organ: The organ courses provide an in-depth understanding of the instrument's technique and repertoire. As a student, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in both liturgical and solo organ performance, as well as in improvisation.
• Choir: This part of the programme offers practical and theoretical knowledge in choir singing and conducting. By leading different types of choirs, you will learn voice leading, repertoire selection, and pedagogical strategies.
• Voice: Voice training focuses on vocal technique, tonality, and expression. You will have the opportunity to work on both solo and choral singing, developing your vocal technique and your ability to interpret and perform vocal pieces.
