Course Details: Cities, Climate and Change: Pathways and Opportunities

This course explores how cities can achieve transformative change by re-imagining the future and re-designing the present. The course utilizes insights and inspiration from Sweden, Europe, and around the world, focusing on pathways and opportunities for climate action in cities.

Course Weeks

The course is designed around 5 weeks, each with a specific theme:

Course Materials

The course features a mix of 6 different types of learning materials, including:

• Lecture films on core topics and leading international initiatives
• Documentary-style films on innovation teams, climate city contracts, and transformative portfolios
• Podcast interviews with insights from ICLEI, the European Commission, and the WRI Ross Centre for Sustainable Cities
• Discussion films with municipalities from around the world
• Presentation films from Vinnova on designing missions
