Introduction to Italian with Film Studies BA
The Italian with Film Studies BA program at University College London (UCL) offers students the opportunity to achieve near-native proficiency in Italian while developing a deep understanding of regional cultures and arts through modules in film. This four-year program includes a Year Abroad, where students can immerse themselves in the cultures and societies of the Italian language.
Program Structure
- The program is studied on a 75/25 ratio between Italian and Film Studies.
- In the first, second, and final years, students take language modules in Italian and modules related to Italian language and culture, as well as Film Studies modules.
- The third year is spent abroad in a country where Italian is spoken, studying at a university or undertaking an approved work placement.
