Program Objectives

The objectives of the program are to educate students who:

• Understand the basics of ethnology, European ethnology, and cultural anthropology
• Can understand and interpret the cultural identity of their own and other communities
• Are tolerant of other cultures and can work in a multicultural environment
• Have knowledge of folkloristics, ethnographic and museological practices, data management, and field research methods
• Are prepared to continue their studies in a master's program

Program Structure

The program includes a combination of theoretical and practical courses, as well as a professional practice period. The professional practice is related to the chosen specialization and takes place in a museum, archive, or other relevant institution.
