The goal of the training is to train architects who can perform all architectural and construction tasks of shaping the built environment, conduct theoretical and scientific activities corresponding to their qualifications, and manage construction management and authority work in their field of expertise. After the professional practice specified in separate legislation, they will receive a design authorization. Participants in the training will be able to participate in the DLA (in individual cases, PhD) training built on the profession.

  • Full credit recognition is accepted for the architect engineer basic degree program.
  • Credits obtained in the knowledge areas specified in point 11 can also be recognized for other basic or master's degree programs, as well as college or university-level basic degree programs, which are accepted by the credit transfer committee of the institution based on the comparison of the knowledge required for credit determination.
• Duration of the Program: 4 semesters
• Credits Required for the Master's Degree: 90 credits
  • Credits for foundational knowledge: 15-24 credits
  • Credits for the core professional material of the profession and specialization: 25-35 credits
  • Credits for differentiated professional material or specialization, including the diploma work: 40-55 credits
  • Minimum credits for elective subjects: 5 credits
  • Credits for the diploma work: 25 credits
  • Ratio of practical knowledge: at least 30% according to the institutional curriculum
• Objective of the Master's Program and the Professional Competencies to be Acquired:
  • The program aims to train architects who can perform all architectural and construction tasks of shaping the built environment, conduct theoretical and scientific activities corresponding to their qualifications, and manage construction management and authority work in their field of expertise.

• Professional Competencies:
  • Knowledge of urban planning and architecture, including the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge, and the relationship between them
  • Knowledge of EU directives 2005/36/EC, including general and professional knowledge
  • Knowledge of architectural history and theory, related arts, technologies, and sciences
  • Knowledge of building design, including the relationship between buildings and their environment, and the need to adapt buildings to human needs and scales
  • Knowledge of research methods for preparing study plans
  • Knowledge of structural design, building physics, and engineering related to building design
  • Ability to identify and formulate social demands in preliminary plans, taking into account social factors
  • Ability to prepare and manage architectural and construction projects
  • Ability to apply and utilize acquired knowledge, problem-solving techniques, and original ideas
  • Ability to evaluate and criticize architectural works
  • Ability to work in teams and lead teams after gaining experience
• Requirements for Admission to the Master's Program:
  • The applicant must have at least 175 credits recognized from their previous studies in the following knowledge areas:
    • Mathematics, descriptive geometry, technical drawing, CAD: at least 20 credits
    • Micro- and macroeconomics, construction management, construction law, philosophy, sociology: at least 8 credits
    • Architectural history, art history, architectural theory: at least 15 credits
    • Statics, strength of materials, structural design: at least 22 credits
    • Building structures, building materials, building services, building physics: at least 34 credits
    • Construction execution, organization, construction economics: at least 10 credits
    • Freehand drawing, modeling, spatial and color composition: at least 12 credits
    • Building design (theory and practice), urban planning, complex design, diploma design: at least 54 credits
  • The applicant must have at least 145 credits in the listed knowledge areas. Missing credits must be obtained within two semesters from admission, according to the institution's study and examination regulations.
