• International and EU entry requirements: The University accepts a wide range of qualifications from applicants studying in the EU and other countries.
• English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum score of 6.0 in all components.

Teaching

Postgraduate students in the Department of Sociology and Criminology typically have 2 hours of contact time for each module per week. The department has a strong research group culture, and graduate students are encouraged to take part in the weekly Departmental Seminar.

Assessment

Modules are assessed by coursework, and the dissertation allows students to focus in-depth on their chosen topic from April onwards with close supervision from academic staff.
